Abstract

Abstract

Southwestern Henan is an important source of high alumina minerals .The ore horizon is the Qinling Group. si1limanite deposits occur in a khondalite series--aspecial rock associa-tion of the high T-medium P（partly low P）metamorphic facies series. The deposits belongto the regional metamorphic type and the contact metamorphic type, In the area there are richsillimanite resources, better conditions for mining and benefication and vast prospects of ex-ploitation and utilization.
