The Application Status of LIMS in the Geoanalysis Laboratory of China

Abstract
The Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) is the accepted system to provide convenient, accurate, timely and standardized technical services in increasing labs. When compared to developed countries, research and development work of LIMS in China is still in its infancy. The LIMS has not been popular and has therefore not been widely implemented in China's mineral industry laboratories. The manual management mode is still used to manage related tasks in some laboratories. After visiting and investigating some mineral industry laboratories, it was found that the establishment of LIMS is absolutely necessary. Most laboratories wish to establish the information management system through their own research or introduce it from other laboratories who have more advanced technology.-
