Abstract

Abstract

We introduced in this paper a simple method to identify marine clastic sediment types with Microsoft Excel, including function adopting and specific processing. It is simple and shortcutting, and easy to be used for distinguishing sediment types from abundant samples. At the same time, the mapping of spatial distribution of sediments is improved, using a set of simple, convenient and practical techniques.
