Abstract

Abstract

We systematically studied in this paper the reflection features of various disturbing-waves, such as multiple reflections, water-layer multiples and so on, and the methods to evaluate the quality of the reflection profile on the basis of previous works. The case of the North Yellow Sea was selected for examples. There are four disturbing areas in the North Yellow Sea in accordance with the intensity of the interference. After filter processing, the disturbing waves were effectively attenuated, and better data was gained for geological interpretation.
