Abstract
Caixiashan deposit, which belongs to sedimentary alteration type, is the only large Pb-Zn deposit in middle Tianshan area at present. Clastics and carbonate formation which is in the first member of Kawabulake group, magmatic hydrothermal of Variscan and sub-faults of Aqikekuduk fault control the forming of the deposit. The positioning of ore bodies is correlated with geo-anomaly. Mineral prediction could be conducted by the delineation of geo-anomaly units. Through the quantative study of geo-anomaly, large scale metallogenic prognosis was completed in Caixiashan deposit, which proved that there were great potential for mineral exploration in the area.
