Geochronology and geochemistry of the ore-bearing porphyry in Xilekuduke Cu-Mo deposit, Fuyun area, Xinjiang, China.

  • The Xilekuduke Cu-Mo deposit in Fuyun County, Xinjiang is a porphyry type Cu-Mo deposit. The ore-bearing granite porphyry and quartz diorite belong to weak peraluminous high-K calc-alkaline series, with relative enrichment in LILE and depletion in Nb, Ta and Ti. The SIMS zircon U-Pb age of 329.6±4.1Ma for ore-bearing granite porphyry is obtained. And the comprehensive analysis shows that both of granite porphyry and quartz diorite are products of the same magma in different magmatic evolution stage. The high positive εNd(t)values and low initial 87Sr/86Sr values of ore-bearing rocks can be an evidence that its original magma came from depleted mantle.
