Abstract: A study of the effect of compounding of structural deformation systems in the Tong Ling copper-gold area is made based on a division of the structural deformation systems involved and an analysis of their time-sequence.The history of structural deformation and changes of tectonic stress field are also brought to light.This must be useful for achieving a knowledge of ore-genesis and prediction of the hidden deposits in the area.
