Abstract
The Xiaoqinling gold field on the southern margin of the North China platform is one of important gold metallogenic areas in China, where the gold deposits of varying sizes have been explored, including more than one thousand gold-bearing quartz veins and more than forty gold deposits.Exemplified by the Dahu gold deposit in the northern gold belt of the Xiaoqinling gold field, the present paper gives a systematic study of fluid inclusions so as to examine the ore-forming fluids and metallogenic mechanism of the Dahu gold deposit on the basis of petrography, homogenization temperatures and compositions of fluid inclusions.
