FiYSt,construt a composite tectouicstratigraphic section and belted tectonic-lithologicmap（corridor geological map）,preliniinari1y determine a principal cross section of a givenarea,define tectonic slices, establish lithostratigraphic columns or tecto-lithstratigraphiccolumns of various slices and determine formal and informal mapping units; second,link allthe belts into a region;third,make a comprehensive study, analyze typical cases and perfectthe division of tectonic slices and their lithostratigraphic and tecto-lithostratigraphic unit;fi-nally,complete the compilation of a map series.
