Aiming at the field geological survey characteristics, the emergency communication system of VSAT station design principles as below:following the task document, technology advanced, flexible, integrating peacetime and wartime, can realize net data transmission and communication, live video conference, voice and fax, etc.Based on the geological survey work, system test and application has been launched in the northwest dangerous areas, which achieved real-time transmission of live video, voice signal with the fixed station of the Xi'an Center. Meanwhile, Real-time transmission interconnection and video conferencing terminal two-way video with the satellite portable stations of Beijing Institute of Geomechanics also have been carried out successfully.
