Based on the characteritics and regularities of palynological assemblage of Ziliujing Formation and Shaximiao Formation of Jurassic in Yanjin area of Yunnan Province, the results show that the pollen of gymnosperms dominates the Ziliujing Formation, while the content of fern spores is low.Pinuspollenites are dominant in the pollen of gymosperms, while only Laevigatosporites were found in the spores of ferns.The Early Jurassic Ziliujing Formation belongs to the tropical semi-arid tropical climate.Pinuspollenites are dominant in the pollen of gymnosperms in Shaximiao Formation, including Psophosphaera, Classopollis, etc.The content of Neoraistrickiais the highest in fern spores.The Middle Jurassic Shaximiao Formation had tropical or subtropical climate.
