In order to strengthen the construction of the testing environment for the application of marine geological information service, a method of transplanting marine geological database based on user classification, was proposed in this paper. Combined with PL/SQL developer and ArcGIS software, marine geologic data packages are created based on users as a unit and then migrate to a new platform under the same hardware and software environment to rebuild the marine geological database under the new platform. The paper started with the data type and user classification, puts forward the route of database transplantation based on attribute data and spatial data, and then discuss the steps and key points of the transplantation of marine geological database.
