Logging Evaluation of Shale Reservoirin Devonian ShetianqiaoFormationin, Lianyuan Sag, Hunan Province

  • The Devonian Shetianqiao Formation (D3s) in Lianyuan sag, central Hunan Province is rich in organic shale, and has been encountered good shale gas in the parameter well XXY-1. The core and logging data of the XXY-1 well were used to study the shale reservoir characteristics of Devonian Shetianqiao Formation in Lianyuan sag, and the reservoir wasevaluated through comprehensive logging curve response and data processing results of NC logging system. The results show that the bottom of the Devonian Shetianqiao Formation of XXY-1 well is a81.1mthickhigh-quality shale section with high TOC and good physical properties, and has greatresource potential.
