Magmatic hydrothermal metallogenic for the Sandun Cu-Pb-Zn deposit:REE and S isotope Evidences
-
Abstract
In this paper, we study the area-metallogenic of the Sandun Cu-Pb-Zn polymetallic deposit, north-eastern Hunan province by trace element and S isotope analysis of ores and minerals. The trace element results of ores and wall rocks show that the rocks in Sandun deposit are high-rich in Cu-Pb-Zn and little-rich in Ag-Au. The REE element results show that the ores and the granite have the similar REE distribution patterns, and the counts of REE in ores are lower than the surrounding rocks. The area-metallogenic is relationship with the mag-matic. The S isotpe results show that the isotope of the Sandun area was drived from the depth magma of the upper mantle or lower crust, and mixed with some surrounding rocks. The Sandun deposit is a magmatic hydrothermal medium-low temperature infilling-replacement Cu-Pb-Zn ploymetallic deposit.
