Experimental Study on Infrared Radiation Characteristics of Granite Tunnel Rockburst in Water Environment

Abstract
Applying the infrared thermal imager as means of observation,simulation experiments of granite tunnel rockburst were conducted in water saturated condition,and the infrared radiation characteristics of granite tunnel rockburst in water environment were studied.The results showed that the saturation degree of rockburst in saturated water was weakened,and the energy release rate became slower.In water environment,the variation patterns of rock specimen at three radiation temperatures (mean,maximum and minimum infrared radiation temperature) were different.During the rockburst process,AIRT of water saturated granite had a more closely relationship with the load and larger heating amplitude than natural samples.However,MAIRT of water saturated granite had a small heating amplitude,and the falling amplitude of MIIRT was greater than that of the natural samples.This study provides a theoretical basis for the infrared radiation warning technology of rockburst in underground engineering.
