Experimental Research on Separation of Lead and Zinc Bulk Concentrate in Yunnan

  • A lead and zinc sulfide bulk concentrate in Yunnan containing lead, zinc and silver, was deep oxidized for long time stockpile.The main metallic minerals are sphalerite, galena, an-glesite, cerussite, zinc oxide and willemite.The particle size is fine and the content of -0.038 mm is 85.43%, so the separation is difficult.The flowsheet of“pickling flotation-lead depressing and zinc flotation-high voltage electrostatic separation” was determined by beneficiation tests, ob-taining zinc concentrate with grade of Zn 46.36%, grade of Pb 1.31%, the recovery of Zn 73.20%and the lead concentrate with grade of Pb 40.80%, the grade of Zn 4.19%and the re-covery of Pb 63.64%, providing a reference for the exploitation and utilization of lead and zinc re-sources.
