Design of Feeding Particle Size Measurement and Control Based on Image Processing

  • Design of feeding particle size measurement and control based on image processing is in-troduced.The ores on feeding conveyor belt were captured continuously by image capture device. The statistical results obtained by analyzing and processing image were inputted into PLC control system, which then adjusted pendulum feeder when contrasted with predetermined size value.The detection system continuously output the actual sizes information, providing an effective way for op-timal control of the working parameters and exerting the maximal efficiency of mills.As an exam-ple, the practical application of concentrator of Panzhihua Iron and steel obtained good results.
